God desires to have a relationship with you and show you your purpose in life, but sin has separated man from God.  In order to restore man’s relationship with God, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you and pay the penalty for your sin.  Because the penalty for sin has been paid, you can have a relationship directly with God, but it requires an individual response from you to receive it.  To accept Jesus into your heart you have to acknowledge that:

We are sinful.  “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Be willing to repent and turn away from sin.  “For the wages of sin is death.”  Romans 6:23
Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.  “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this:  While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8
You must receive Him.  “Yet to all who receive Him, to those who believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God.”  John 1:12

Receiving Christ into your heart is as simple as asking Him to come into your life.  You could pray a simple prayer like this:

Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.  I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins.  I want to turn from my sins.  I invite Jesus Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior and Lord.  In Jesus name, Amen.

After your confession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, the Bible says in Acts 2:38 "Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.  The act of water baptism by immersion is documented in Scripture as the pattern that Christ asked us to follow.  If you have any questions concerning baptism, you may contact the pastor.

The celebration of communion is a symbolic reenactment of the Last Passover Feast which Jesus celebrated prior to His death and resurrection.  The elements of the juice and unleavened bread are symbolic of His shed blood and “broken” body.  Communion is open to all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.  We invite you to participate.

If you have received Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and are interested in membership here at Central Christian Church, we would be happy to talk with you about it.  At the close of any service you are invited to come forward and express your interest in membership to the Pastor, or you may call the church office at #682-6424.

For our Winter Texan friends, you may join CCC as an associate member during the months that you live here.  It will not affect your membership in your home church.  We want you to know that you are not a visitor, and that you belong to a group of Christians that will pray for you. The pastor, elders and deacons are willing to serve you whenever needed.
