We are the "Thunder Horse" Chapter of the Harley Owner's Group. You can just call us "family". We are a group of Harley riders that enjoy riding, raising money for good causes, and having fun together.

My name is Jimmy Gower and it is pleasure to serve as your director of the Thunder Horse HOG chapter.
Welcome to our chapter, where our motto is "Ride & Have Fun!" We have a great HOG officer staff this year, and we all look forward to serving you. We will be sponsoring some great rides along with some fund raising activities to benefit our "Christmas Toy Run" & the "Freddy Gonzalez Veterans Nursing Home".
If you have any suggestions please come up to a HOG officer and we will do our best to make something of it. So come out & ride with us!
Ride with "Family":
Please see the Rides & Events section of our website for all the Rides, Events, Meetings, and "Hang Outs" that we have planned. Rides are structured, yet fun. Trips that we take as a group, usually incorporate a stop for a meal. Some rides are short, and others are long, or even overnight. We hope to have a ride to fit what you are looking for! "Hang Outs" are social events where we all meet at a specified location just for the purpose of enjoying each others company and getting to know all the new people in our HOG family. Family is always welcome at these events so you can always load up the car and bring everyone along!
Our Membership:
Our membership covers a very diverse demographic with men and women of all ages and walks of life. Our rides are open to guests, so if you're looking for a bunch of like minded people to ride your motorcycle with, please come out to one of our rides and learn more about our group. |
Fundraising:
Aside from chapter rides and meetings, Thurnder Horser H.O.G. also supports many local charities and non profit events in our community. We are proud supporters of our annual Toy Run, the Freddy Gonzalez Veterans Home , and others.

We will meet at the HEB on the corner of Rrdge and Cage, Pharr to deliver the school supplies to Carmen Anaya Elementary school. We will depart at 9 am with police escorts.
Also, there will be a Ladies of Harley meeting and back pack stuffing party at Julia's house on Thursday September 10th at 7 pm. All are welcome to come assist with the stuffing. Email Julia for directions: canon78541@yahoo.com
